Inner relaxation and health show in your attractive outer appearance. The knowledge of the youth giving power of certain plants has been around for thousands of years. Enjoy your Green Smoothies with their anti-oxidants, glycosides and saponines to enhance your attractiveness. You don’t need to remember the individual components – it is enough if you drink your Green Smoothies daily, as it contains everything your skin needs to make it beautiful.

The most effective plants for healthy skin

  • Aloe Vera: over 200 components have been identified which enhance your health and beauty. Peel a little of the transparent gel from the inside of the leaf and add it to your Green Smoothies. You only need a small amount of the green peel, as it contains highly effective substances for the digestive system and these should be ingested in only small quantities. Aloe Vera is valuable from fighting disease causing organisms to a firmer skin.
  • Dandelion: it is especially recommended for skin and hair problems as well as for inflammation, eczema and dandruff. You can add the leaves and the flower to your Green Smoothies.
  • Horsetail (or Shave grass): contains a large amounts of silica which improves the elasticity of the skin – recommended for wrinkling and cellulite.
  • Pomegranate: it is classified as one of the most healthy fruits ever due to its high content of anti-oxidants, polyphenols, flavanoids and trace elements. This makes it an excellent anti-aging remedy. Its juice improves elasticity and firmness of  the skin and increases moisture content, due to its oestrogen like components. Its taste gives Green Smoothies a special note.
  • Avocado: rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and Biotin, which all support the renewal of skin cells and the surrounding connective tissue. It also lowers cholesterol despite its high fat content. The taste of a Green Smoothie becomes rounded by adding avocado and gives it a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • Other plants beneficial for the skin: sea weed, apples, apricots, stinging nettle, water cress, green tea leaves, ground ivy, coltsfoot, raw cacao powder or beans, camomile, cabbage leaves, parsley, peaches, rosemary, sage, sea buckthorn, yarrow, spirulina powder, wild pansies.
