Superfood-Salad Dressing for Beautiful Skin

I recently watched a video on how David Wolfe made a version of this super healthy, very tasty salad dressing, which is especially good for a youthful looking skin, but naturally has loads of other health benefits as well. It beats any commercial salad dressing, which is usually full of bad oils and other additives that are not meant to pass our lips, never mind find their way into our bodies.

You can make a bigger batch and keep it in the fridge for a day or two or freeze in small quantities for later use.

 

Ingredients:

(use organic as much as possible)

  • 1 tomato or a handful of baby tomatoes
  • several thick slices of cucumber
  • 1 clove of garlic (if small, use two)
  • 1 spring onion
  • approx. 6 olives, stone removed
  • 3 tablespoons of olive water
  • small sprig of rosemary or a handful of basil leaves
  • a few sprigs of fresh thyme, or 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • Himalaya or herbal salt to taste
  • +/- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • +/- 2 teaspoons of chia seeds
  • some filtered water

Method:

  1. place all ingredients in a blender
  2. blend until smooth and creamy
  3. pour over green salad consisting of mixed green leaves, some avocado pieces and whatever other raw ingredients you fancy
  4. Enjoy!
